There are 15 different research studies the CDGA is conducting and will be discussing at the Field Day:
Onsite research – 3 fungicide, 1 biorational, 3 herbicide, 1 PGR, 2 wetting agent, 2 out-of-play areas, 2 variety trials, 1 honey bee
A. Current year studies of interest - walking tour
1) New ways to improve drought tolerance of Kentucky bluegrass roughs with PGRs (2025)
2) Weekly-applied fungicide programs for disease control and plant health in greens (2025)
3) Watered-in fungicides and biorationals to improve root health in greens (2025)
B. Long term studies of interest - walking tour
1) Tenacity to remove creeping bentgrass (2023-25)
2) Velocity PM to remove Poa annua (2024-25)
3) Manuscript to remove perennial ryegrass (2024-25)
